Our wood fired brick oven, imported from Tuscany, achieves cooking temperatures of 800 to 1000 degrees with each pizza cooking fully in approx 90 seconds. We use hard wood such as oak to heat the oven. It takes at least 4 hours of preheating our 1.5 ton oven before it is ready to cook pizza.
Our pizza recipes have been handed down from generation to generation, dating back to my great grandfather in the small town of Arzano, the countryside of Naples Italy. Modified with a touch of modern fusion, we have perfected our pizzas to satisfy even the greatest of pizza lovers.
As far back as I can remember, some of my most memorable experiences as a kid were of my family gathering in my grandfathers backyard for some pizza. The oven was built from brick by my grandfather. It was a great piece of work!
While the pizza was the best thing I ever tasted, It was how the oven brought family and friends together. It seemed everyone, kids and adults, gathered around the oven every time another piping hot pie was about to come out of the oven.
My objective when I built my first oven in my backyard in 2002 was to bring family and friends together and give all the kids some of the wonderful memories I was lucky enough to have of those gatherings around the brick oven.
Pure and Simple can now bring our goodness to your festivals and private parties with our mobile brick oven. All of our dough recipes came to America from the bakery my family owned in Southern Italy.
